It is important that lighting equipment is properly tested and maintained if it is to function correctly when required in an emergency. All emergency lighting should be regularly checked and maintained by a competent person in accordance with the manufacturers’ recommendations.

While fixing a faulty alarm is an important way of keeping security at an optimum level, prevention is always better than cure. Prevention in this case means regular maintenance, something that can be provided by highly-highly-skilled security engineers. During maintenance visits, engineers will check and test all parts of the burglar alarm system, from sounders and control panels to sensors and electrical/battery-powered elements.
